Town 'N Country Garden Circle: Pat Rey, an owner of the Green Thumb Nursery, will talk about "Controlling Gardening Pests" at noon Wednesday at the Town 'N Country Recreation Center, 6039 Hanley Road. Call (813) 884-3462.

Orange Blossom Garden Club of Lutz: at the Lutz Community Center, 98 First Ave. NW. Proceeds support local charities, civic associations and a botany/biology scholarship at the University of South Florida. Call (813) 949-1940.
