Once a year, the Museum of Fine Arts in St. Petersburg welcomes a group of artists who work in a unique medium. Their creations are on display for only a few days, as the works soon become more suitable for a compost heap than an art museum. • Art in Bloom, a project of the Stuart Society and the MFA, features floral designs inspired by the works in the museum and by the museum itself. About 50 designs will be on display today through Wednesday. Several special events, including a luncheon Wednesday with floral designer Ron Morgan as guest speaker, are sprinkled throughout the exhibition.
