Pinterest provides High Point Market style marks
I was honored to attend the High Point Market as the winning "Style Spotter" from April's event.
At each market, nine Style Spotters — typically interior designers, design bloggers or other taste makers — are chosen from North America to select 15 to 25 products (including furniture, chandeliers, area rugs, home accessories and artwork) that they feel best represent the newest and hottest styles, trends and colors.
Each Style Spotter creates a Pinterest board, linked from the High Point Market Authority's website at highpointmarket.org. The public then votes on which items they like the most by "liking" and/or "repinning" them to other Pinterest boards. The Spotter with the most votes is declared a winner. (It was even more exciting for me to win this contest again at the October market!)
