Mind your manners

While touring a home, keep in mind that it's not your home. Some suggested tour etiquette:

• As a general rule, no photographs.

• The bathrooms in the homes are not for public use. Ask a tour guide to direct you to the nearest public facility.

• If requested to do so, cover your shoes when you enter a home.

• Do not smoke in the homes. And if you smoke outside, throw your butts away, not on the ground.

• Leave pets at home.
