I am looking for a heavenly cheesecake recipe. The crust was made from ground walnuts and it had a raspberry jam and triple sec glaze on top of strawberries. Does anyone have this recipe?

Reini Enzenbach of Palm Harbor shares a cheesecake recipe that could be a good starting point for Olga. It is creamy with the slightest hint of almond and would be delicious with strawberries on top. You could certainly dust the pan with finely ground walnuts as a substitute for the graham cracker crumbs. To make a glaze as Olga remembers, combine some raspberry jam in a saucepan with just enough triple sec to thin it (start with a small amount of triple sec and add more as necessary). Heat over low heat until a brushing consistency. Put strawberries on top and brush with the glaze.
Jean Parker of New Port Richey is looking for a recipe for the Italian dessert Zuppa Inglese, which she enjoyed at an office potluck. . . . Dave and Janet Meling of Seminole enjoy the wings at Outback Steakhouse. They want to know how they are prepared and what special seasonings are used. . . . Palm Harbor resident Joe Kahl is looking for a sugar pie recipe his German grandmother would bake for him. Joe says that whenever she would bake a pie, she would line a small pie tin with the leftover dough and make a sugar-based filling. He remembers the filling was creamy white and sprinkled with cinnamon. Can anyone help Joe with a recipe?
Debra Jacobs of Tampa was looking for a source to purchase peppered bacon, and reader Patricia Deen of Holiday suggested Schwan's delivery company. Patricia reports the bacon was good and pretty much always available.
