The AuCoins

Eric and Rosalinde AuCoin of New Port Richey celebrated their 50th anniversary on March 16 with friends and family at their home.

The couple married March 16, 1963, at Bethel Assembly of God in Hampton, Va. They retired to New Port Richey last year from Yorkville, Ill.

The AuCoins were deeply involved in several Christian television ministries, including the Christian Broadcasting Network, the PTL Television Network and the Total Living Network (formerly known as Chicago's TV-38). Eric, an ordained minister, served as a broadcast executive and television producer. Rosalinde is a published songwriter and composer of Christian music. The couple regularly provided music ministry and hosted programs for the networks. The AuCoins also sang and ministered at churches and gatherings across the nation.

For the past 10 years, the couple led music and worship activities at First Baptist Church of Big Rock, Ill., where Eric served as interim pastor following the retirement of the congregation's longtime pastor.

The couple have two adult children and five grandchildren.
