Charles Trippy's video blog about his life, the Internet Killed TV, has built a YouTube following

On Day 29, they went to Ikea in Tampa, bought a stuffed whale for the dogs, then got pulled over by the cops for pausing in a handicapped spot.

Day 86, they flipped around the Raptor roller coaster at Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio.

Day 158, they shared a beer and a Big Mac at a McDonald's in Valencia, Spain.

Welcome to the ups and downs, twists and turns in the lives of Charles Trippy and Alli Speed, a young couple in the throes of a 365-day video blog about their lives.

It's called Internet Killed Television, and one video last week — Girl Fights a Donkey?! — got more than a million hits.

"It's just the two of us with a tiny handheld camera," Trippy, 25, said in a phone interview from Valencia. "It's basically a reality show of our lives, a video diary."

Trippy is the YouTube celebrity from Tampa who has made a living the past few years making funny videos.

He has clawed his way out of a stuffed-animal claw machine; danced in a banana costume; let his friends shoot .68-caliber paintball pellets at his bare chest.

YouTube puts ads on the videos and pays him by the hit. They're doing the same for the daily video blog. He won't say how much he makes but says YouTube celebrities can and do make six figures.

When they started the video blog last spring, Trippy was living in Tampa and Speed, 20, was in school at Florida State University. Then in August, Speed, a foreign languages major, left to study abroad in Spain.

She would send clips to Trippy in the United States, and he would combine them with his daily adventures into a single video. About a month ago, Trippy joined her in Spain and they've been documenting their lives there ever since:

Attacked by Naked Drunk People?! (348,782 views). Bare-chested Australian men chase Trippy.

Biggest Mustache Ever (107,969 views) Random man on the street walks by with 2-foot-long, skyward-pointing mustache.

Girls Don't Fart!?! (478,944 views) Speed proves that they do.

The couple's video blog got more than 7 million views in the past month alone.

On day 157, Trippy and Speed walked to a park, stopped at a pond and gazed at a giant koi. They dropped a coin into a wishing well. When they came to a small bridge with a stone outcropping, Trippy set down the camera. It recorded him as he got down on one knee and proposed.

Speed cried for like five minutes.

Surprise Marriage Proposal in Spain! has so far gotten 608,167 hits.
