In his own words: I'm a 12-year-old international go-kart racer

I was 4 years old when I started racing. … I remember going out on the track for my first time and, like, just going around, like, really slow. …

I raced (in Australia) for 2014, '15 and '16. The one I won was 2016. … The sun was in my eyes the whole time. I was just willing to get the race over and done with because the sun was just killing my eyes. I finally actually won. … My dad ran over to me and picked me up and was all excited. …

If someone passes me and they're a lot faster than me, I try their line, and sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. The racing line is where you usually see black on the track, from when the rubber is wearing off. … We're about 2 inches off the ground. … It looks like you're going a lot faster than what you are. … Sometimes when it's really windy out, you can feel the wind actually hitting your head. That's why you sit back in your seat, so you don't get as much wind hitting you, so it doesn't slow you down as much.

If you're scared, sometimes you will go slower, because you're scared of going that fast. What I do is try to not think like that. I'm not as scared like I was in my beginning year, so I'm not scared anymore. I had a wreck at the Jr. Maxx Daddy this year. I came off the corner, and someone punted me, and that's when I hit the fence, and the fence actually lifted out of the ground, and I went under and down a hill. (I was going) about 60 miles an hour.

I kept on racing after that.
