There are so many things about this 68-year-old holiday photo that make you go "hmmm," from Santa's shirt that doesn't quite button to the little girl's solid grip on his white beard to the baby who just wants OFF THIS STRANGE MAN'S LAP THANKYOUVERYMUCH. But perhaps most amusing of all is the children's names: Carol and Nickie Christmas. We suppose their parents decided that if your name is Christmas you might as well embrace it. Ensign and Mrs. F.F. Christmas, of Burlington Avenue in St. Petersburg, weren't alone in that sentiment. A look at voter registration rolls reveals Florida has at least 394 voters named Christmas, including 10 who opted to hyphenate. Of those, there are six women named Mary Christmas and one Marie. There's a Holly and a Hollie Christmas. Two lucky Christmases, David and Victoria, were actually born on Dec. 25 (he in 1966, she in '83). We also found a Christopher Cringle and a Candy Kane. But alas, we'll have to keep dreaming of a White Christmas.
Is this the funniest 'Scared of Santa' photo ever?
