Summer ends with spray from a fire hose

Palm Harbor Fire Rescue and the Palm Harbor Library staff held their annual end of summer hosedown for children at Palm Field across from the library on Tuesday.

Recommended for kids 3 and older, a nozzle on top of an engine and a hose provided the misting spray that cooled off kids who had participated in the library's summer programs. Kids had a chance to hold one of the hoses being used to spray the water.
