Visitation, funeral set for screenwriter Michael France

Visitation for the late screenwriter and Beach Theatre owner Michael France will be 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Beach Memorial Chapel, 301 Corey Ave. in St. Pete Beach. Funeral services are planned for 11:30 a.m. Saturday at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 445 82nd Ave., also in St. Pete Beach. Mr. France, 51, whose screen credits include the James Bond thriller GoldenEye and the Marvel Comics adaptations Hulk, Fantastic Four and The Punisher, died Friday after a long struggle with diabetes.
