Lil Wayne busted in prison
It was only a matter of time before Lil Wayne slipped up at Rikers Island after pleading guilty to gun charges in October. Guards busted him Monday for possessing contraband, the New York Daily News says. What was it? Weapons? Drugs? Porn? Nah, he had accessories for an MP3 player. "He was found with a charger for an MP3 player and unauthorized earphones," a source said, noting that they were for another inmate's watch, which doubled as a music player. This "music contraband" was found wrapped in foil and a bag and stuffed in his cell's trash after Weezy was ratted out by a squealer.
'Judge Dredd' being remade
While Sylvester Stallone grunting "I AM THE LAW!" in 1995's Judge Dredd made for an awesome pop-cultural touchstone, we can't go so far as to say the movie was good. So now they're remaking it. ComicBook.com clues us in that DNA Films and India's Reliance Big Entertainment are rethinking the U.K. comic classic, since the movie wasn't received well by fans. As good news, 28 Days Later scribe Alex Garland is set to pen the script, while Pete Travis will be the director. No cast has been announced, but the hope is to shop the flick at Cannes one year.
Is Stefani pregnant?
Courtney Love's insistence she had an affair with Gavin Rossdale apparently didn't faze Gwen Stefani. Rumor has it she's expecting child No. 3 with her dear hubby. Star says Gwen, 40, was seen about New York with a fuller figure last week, the telltale sign that Kingston, 3, and Zuma, 20 months, were going to get another sibling soon. "She was pulling at her shirt to keep it away from her body. It seemed really strange — but then, when she turned to the side, I could see why. She definitely had a baby bump!" a source told the mag. Another supposed witness says she's been sick as a dog this go-'round, explaining why she's been seen with a morning sickness-relieving Sea-Band bracelet.
'Bachelorette' is definitely pregnant
Chicago girl Jen Schefft, who appeared on both The Bachelor and The Bachelorette, has won the real parting gift: getting knocked up by her husband. The 33-year-old, who married trader Joe Waterman last May, is due in November. "I was shocked. I thought it would take more time," Schefft tells Us. "I took three tests because I didn't believe it was true!"
Penn pleads no contest
Sean Penn pleaded no contest to vandalism on Wednesday, effectively ending a case in which the Oscar-winning actor was videotaped kicking a celebrity photographer, the AP reports. The 49-year-old actor was not present in court and entered the plea through his attorney. He was sentenced to three years of informal probation and ordered to perform 300 hours of community service for breaking photographer Jordan Dawes' camera in an October scuffle.
