Ganja Queen, 9 p.m., HBO Remember that movie Brokedown Palace, where the girls get busted for being drug mules and end up in a prison for the rest of their lives? Here's a true-life doc about an Australian woman who was busted with 10 pounds of weed in Indonesia, where trafficking is a capital offense. Yikes.

History Detectives, 9 p.m. (check listings in your area), PBS We're on the lookout for new shows, so check out an episode of this series, featuring a WWII diary, a coin shot by Annie Oakley and a century-old memoir from a Mormon wife.

TUESDAY

SERIES PREMIERE The Secret Life of the American Teenager, 8 p.m., ABC Family Yes, because being a teenager is soooo tough. Look for Molly Ringwald as a mom!

SERIES PREMIERE Celebrity Family Feud, 8 p.m., NBC Al Roker proves good gameshows never die. They just get recycled dozens of times.

Wide Angle, 9 p.m. (check listings in your area), PBS You've seen celebrities talk about Darfur a lot, but maybe you should watch this documentary to find out what's going on there.

WEDNESDAY

Nova scienceNOW, 9 p.m., (check listings in your area), PBS What's this? Another listing for a PBS show? Have we gone soft? No, but this episode is about genetic profiling, in which people try to ascertain whether they will develop a crippling disease, is too sci-fi for us to miss.

South Park, 10 p.m., Comedy South Park + Guitar Hero = hilarity, yes?

THURSDAY

Swingtown, 10 p.m., CBS This may say something about how far deep in the gutter our minds are, but it's awesome to see Harry Reems onscreen again.

Fear Itself, 10 p.m., NBC A rookie cop gets to babysit a serial-killing prisoner known as The Eater. And not because he does that Nathan's hot dog-eating contest, either.

FRIDAY

A Capitol Fourth, 8 p.m., PBS Jerry Lee Lewis and Huey Lewis head to the Capitol with conductor Erich Kunzel and the National Symphony Orchestra, Taylor Hicks, Broadway star Brian Stokes Mitchell, and sopranos Hayley Westenra and Harolyn Blackwell.

Macy's 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular, 9 p.m., NBC Two great things about America in one show: explosions and corporate sponsorship. Oh, and Natasha Bedingfield, Jordin Sparks, Kenny Chesney and Katharine McPhee are slated to perform.

Boston Pops Fireworks Spectacular, 10 p.m., CBS If all that's just too commercial for you, check out conductor Keith Lockhart and the Boston Pops Esplanade Orchestra. Also good if you like the 1812 Overture.
