Dion Lim, evening anchor at CBS affiliate 10News WTSP in St. Petersburg, announced she is leaving the station to begin "a very exciting adventure just on the horizon."

"The only way I can describe my time here is an incredible journey," Lim said in a video posted on Facebook.

Lim initially made the announcement during Tuesday night's 11 p.m. broadcast, and has since posted on Facebook that after three years at the station, "the time has come to start my new chapter."

"You have welcomed me into your lives beyond what you see on the TV screen. For that, I am beyond grateful," Lim wrote. "You've invited me into your children's schools. To speak at professional workshops. Fundraisers. Community galas. I've witnessed and lived through your most breathtaking highs and your times of greatest sorrow.

"It's has been such a privilege and such an honor for me to be part of your lives, and for that I am forever grateful. And I will carry a part of that with me for the rest of my life."

Lim joined WTSP in 2014 after serving as evening anchor at NBC affiliate WCNC in Charlotte, N.C., where viewers voted her Best TV News Personality, according to her bio page. A Michigan native, Lim previously worked at ABC affiliate KMBC in Kansas City, Mo., where she was named best morning anchor in the city.
