On TV this week
Santa Claus Is Comin' to Town, 8 p.m., ABC This Fred Astaire-narrated cartoon has managed to find a place in the Christmas-special pantheon. Some of you are no doubt mumbling about President Obama bumping this one, too.
Alice, 9 p.m., SyFy We thought it wouldn't matter, but it's distracting to watch a two-part TV movie with Max Headroom, Chief O'Brien and Annie Wilkes from Misery all in it.
Million Dollar Listing, 10 p.m., Bravo Madison starts to reassess his sexuality. Well, hello, his name is Madison.
SEASON FINALE The Biggest Loser, 8 p.m., NBC We get to see which one of the contestants has lost the most to win the most. That $250,000 would buy a lot of Five Guys cheeseburgers.
Better Off Ted, 9:30 p.m., ABC We don't usually check this one out, but Taye Diggs is stopping in from Private Practice, so we may have to change our viewing habits.
Britain's Missing Top Model, 9 p.m., BBC America Disabled modeling contestants wearing only their underwear in a retail window? Who would miss that?
Steven Seagal Lawman, 10 p.m., A&E We thought there'd be a lot more aikido and a lot less standing around saying dumb things. Well, if it was one of his movies, he'd at least be doing both at once.
SEASON FINALE Top Chef: Las Vegas, 10 p.m., Bravo Will it be nice chubby guy Kevin or one of the Voltaggio brothers? We like Kevin, but figure on one of the brothers; we can't tell them apart so we can't say which will get the big prize.
Launch My Line, 11 p.m., Bravo This Project Runway knockoff hasn't completely offended us yet, so we'll give it another week. Having to base designs on Venice Beach isn't helping, though.
Pedigree Dogs Exposed, 8 p.m., BBC America Dying for that Frenchie or Rottie? So are they, as this doc about purebred shows. Go to the pound next time, okay?
30 Rock, 9:30 p.m., NBC Jack Donaghy had a crush on Julianne Moore back in high school, we learn. We'd still prefer Salma Hayek, murderous jealousy or not.
The Real Housewives of Orange County, 10 p.m., Bravo Any time this show even threatens to feature Florida, we cringe. And that's coming from someone who sees a lot of reality TV.
Yes, Virginia, 8 p.m., CBS Remember when animated specials featured mostly unknown voice actors so we wouldn't spend all our time focusing on how the characters sound like Neil Patrick Harris and Jennifer Love Hewitt? We miss those.
Smallville, 8 p.m., CW Any episode with both zombies and Superman is worth a second look.
Law & Order, 8 p.m., NBC Lupo and Bernard investigate the death of a campaign volunteer who was murdered and disfigured with the word "Fed" written on his chest. The writers do know that the guy found dead in Kentucky in September killed himself and made it look like a homicide, right? Oops, spoiler alert.
