On TV this weekend

FRIDAY

Flashpoint, 8 p.m., CBS Show creator Mark Ellis guest-stars as a possible suspect in a bombing. Wow, those network cutbacks are really affecting the casting.

SERIES PREMIERE Tanked, 9 p.m., Animal Planet We continue our march toward every single profession getting their own reality show by following a Las Vegas business that builds custom aquariums. Hmm … wonder if the business partners (who are brothers-in-law) get along?

Torchwood: Miracle Day, 10 p.m., Starz The history of the miracle is explored, but since people have died throughout history, we'd be surprised if this has happened before.

Strike Back, 10 p.m., Cinemax Scott and Stonebridge race terrorists looking for a scientist who knows about missing weapons of mass destruction. His name isn't Doc Brown by any chance, is it?

SATURDAY

SEASON PREMIERE Rock 'n' Roll Fantasy Camp, 10 p.m., VH1 Classic Who woulda thought that Duff McKagan from Guns N' Roses would be the nice guy on this show for people who can't let hair metal die?

SEASON PREMIERE That Metal Show, 11 p.m., VH1 Classic And if you're not a contestant on Rock 'n' Roll Fantasy Camp, you can always watch an interview with Tony Iommi from Black Sabbath.

SUNDAY

SEASON FINALE The Glee Project, 9 p.m., Oxygen Before you go see the Glee movie, watch who wins a shot at being the next cast member. Don't get too attached, because they'll have to graduate in three years, remember.

Talihina Sky: The Story of Kings of Leon, 10 p.m., Showtime If you're hoping to find out exactly why they had to cancel so many shows this year, too bad. But you will be able to revel in their borderline dysfunction prior to that.
