On TV this weekend

ABC's World News With Charles Gibson, 6:30 p.m., ABC Because we have a soft spot for journalists (even TV ones), we're pointing out Diane Sawyer is taking over on Monday. Bye, Charlie.

Frosty the Snowman, 8 p.m., CBS We've been watching this one since 1969, and still we wish they hadn't bothered explaining where the magic hat came from.

Frosty Returns, 8:30 p.m., CBS And then in 1992, they brought Frosty back and menaced him with a snow-removal spray! Damn those chemical manufacturers.

The 25iest: Hollywood's Most Outrageous Holiday Gifts, 11 p.m., Oxygen We'd get excited to see what J.Lo gets for Marc Anthony or Justin Timberlake gets Jessica Biel, but this is Oxygen. We need this to be on E! to hear about people getting breast implants and gold-plated colonic nozzles.

Doctor Who: The Waters of Mars, 9 p.m., BBC America Here's all we need to know: zombie virus in the astronauts' water supply.

WWE Tribute to the Troops, 9 p.m., NBC A posse of fake fighters heads to Iraq to entertain the real fighters. It's the least they could do.

Samantha Brown's Holiday in New York, 9 p.m., Travel Sam heads to Manhattan to show where you should go for the holidays. Our suggestion: Anywhere but Manhattan.

Christmas in Washington, 8 p.m., TNT George Lopez hosts performances by Mary J. Blige, Rob Thomas, Usher, Neil Diamond, Justin Bieber and Sugarland. All that in one hour? Now that's the kind of efficiency Capitol Hill should be working on.

SEASON FINALE Survivor: Samoa, 8 p.m., CBS Who cares who wins this season? Ethan Zohn's cancer is in remission (see The Juice* on Page 77)!

Nigella's Christmas Kitchen, 9 p.m., Food The busty Brit oozes her bangers and mash all over traditional Christmas dishes.

Kendra: Here Comes Baby, 9 p.m., E! Hey, E!, get with the times: Kendra had her baby last week, already.
