On TV this weekend

THURSDAY

Disney Prep & Landing, 8 p.m., ABC Yeah, we thought this was on before, too, but watching Christmas elves get jerked around at their office makes us feel a little warmer inside.

Christmas at St. Olaf: Where Peace and Love and Hope Abide, 10 p.m., PBS For your Christmas Eve viewing, listen to excerpts from Handel's Messiah, Mendelssohn's St. Paul and Honegger's King David on this 2007 special. We're pretty sure they haven't changed the words.

Christmas at the Cathedral: Beacon of Hope, 11:35 p.m., CBS And after that, you can watch a service from St. Joseph Cathedral with the bishop of the Diocese of Sioux Falls, S.D. It's a wild and crazy night, we tell you.

FRIDAY

Disney Parks Christmas Day Parade, 10 a.m., ABC In case you can't be at the Mouse House for the big day, watch Celine Dion, Stevie Wonder, the Jonas Brothers, Selena Gomez, Anika Noni Rose, Kris Allen and Demi Lovato from home, so that one day your kids' children will ask, "Who were they?"

Bad Santa, 7 p.m., Spike One of our favorite Christmas movies, although after the censors get hold of it, there's really not much of a movie. You could always watch A Christmas Story on TBS.

Total Recall, 9 p.m., SyFy And really, what says Christmas more than the governor of California having his eyes bug out of his head from lack of atmospheric pressure? Plus: Michael Ironside!

SATURDAY

Doctor Who: The End of Time, Part One, 9 p.m., BBC America Celebrate Boxing Day by watching this first part before the last Doc special airs on Jan. 2. We're going to be too worn out from traveling, ourselves.

SUNDAY

The Sound of Music, 7 p.m., ABC Let's see if mountain folk cut into any big football games this time. Hey, Heidi did.

Keeping Up With the Kardashians, 10 p.m., E! Khloe thinks she might be pregnant, but you celebrity obsessed weirdos who watch this show already know she's not. So why waste the 30 minutes?
