On TV this weekend

FRIDAY

ACM Presents: Tim McGraw's Superstar Summer Night, 8 p.m., CBS Put down the cowboy hat, because this special includes Nelly, Ne-Yo, Pitbull and John Fogerty. The Band Perry, Keith Urban, Lady Antebellum, Taylor Swift, Jason Aldean, Dierks Bentley and McGraw's wife, Faith Hill. It's safe to say not everyone watching tonight drives a pickup truck.

Magic City, 9 p.m., Starz Now Ike is trying to rig the Cuban lottery. He really has a tendency to bite off more than he can chew.

Banshee, 10 p.m., Cinemax Carrie ditches the hospital so she can save her family before Rabbit gets too close. Plus, her insurance co-pays are outrageous.

72 Hours, 10:30 p.m., TNT Heading through the southern Rockies can be dicey. If there isn't 3 feet of snow falling on you, there's the potential for huge wildfires. Guess which one they're getting this week …

SATURDAY

SEASON PREMIERE America's Cutest Dog, 8 p.m., Animal Planet If it's not Boo the Pomeranian, the whole competition is fixed. Seriously, the dog has a stuffed toy line.

SEASON PREMIERE Iyanla: Fix My Life, 9 p.m., OWN If you're watching Iyanla Vanzant on a Saturday night, chances are this really is the show for you.

SEASON PREMIERE Welcome to Sweetie Pie's, 10 p.m., OWN Former Ikette Robbie Montgomery continues to sell southern cooking to the masses. She should be sure to hire a better team of lawyers than the ones Paula Deen had.

SUNDAY

SEASON PREMIERE Unforgettable, 9 p.m., CBS We would write a capsule for this Poppy Montgomery series, but we can't remember what it's about. See what we did there?

SERIES PREMIERE Inside the American Mob, 9 p.m., NatGeo Kind of odd that a series about the Mafia is on this channel. Perhaps they'll be focusing on the precise locations of each crime family and explore the environment there.
