On TV this weekend
Cult, 8 p.m., CW Edie is scared of a pair of figurines she had when she was little. Well, those Hummels are kind of unsettling.
Treehouse Masters, 10 p.m., Animal Planet A boomerang kid moves back in with her folks, so they decide to build a guest house in a copse of trees behind the house. Just so long as she pays rent for it.
Life's Too Short Special, 10 p.m., HBO A followup to last year's series about Warwick Davis, who is still trying to convince people a show featuring Wicket the Ewok could catch on. Val Kilmer's in it, so you know who's bringing the star power.
Continuum, 10 p.m., Syfy Kiera has a nervous breakdown, activating a psych protocol in her brain chips. We'd call it Prozac (Celexa if you're diabetic).
SEASON FINALE Brooklyn DA, 9 p.m., CBS The last of the six-part series. It seems the borough still has crime, so what have these people been doing with their time?
Celebrity Ghost Stories, 9 p.m., Bio Anthony Michael Hall and Richard Grieco are the ones with haints tonight. They actually qualify as celebrities to Gen Xers.
Bikinis & Boardwalks, 7 p.m., Travel A look at travel destinations like Atlantic City, N.J., and Coney Island, N.Y., which are apparently more than just the home of awful reality franchises and Superstorm Sandy damage.
SERIES PREMIERE Endeavor, 9 p.m. (check local listings), PBS Inspector Morse before he was Inspector Morse, out investigating murder cases the way Inspector Morse does.
SERIES PREMIERE Tattoo Rescue, 10 p.m., Spike It's like Tabatha's Salon Takeover, if the salons were tattoo parlors. Because tattoo parlors are nothing if not concerned with catering to an expanding customer base.
