On TV this weekend

FRIDAY

Supernanny, 8 p.m., ABC A mother likes to use corporal punishment and everyone is shocked. It'll be fun to see if the kids are actually poorly behaved because of the beatings or despite them.

Smallville, 8 p.m., CW Jor-El is alive and comes to Smallville looking for his boy. That pretty much unravels half of Clark's neuroses right there.

SpongeBob SquarePants: Truth or Square, 8 p.m., Nickelodeon The pineapple dweller turns 10 and gets visits from famous people like Tina Fey, Will Ferrell and Robin Williams. The Botox is just around the corner.

SERIES PREMIERE Platinum Babies, 9 p.m., WEtv What kind of kid needs a $50,000 baby shower? The kind that will be on reality TV their entire lives, that's who.

Ugly Betty, 9 p.m., ABC Jamie-Lynn Sigler gets hired as Daniel's assistant. Don't push her around too much, or Tony Soprano will show up to have a word with you.

SATURDAY

SERIES PREMIERE The Wanda Sykes Show, 11 p.m., Fox Wanda gets her own talk show, which is sure to be more entertaining than MAD TV ever was.

SUNDAY

Keeping Up With the Kardashians: The Wedding, 8 p.m., E! Just in case you didn't get an invite to Khloe's non-marriage to Lamar Odom, you can catch up right now. Does that mean we have to buy a gift?

SEASON FINALE Bored to Death, 9:30 p.m., HBO The gang takes on GQ in boxing. Because when we think hardcore, rough-and-tumble knucklers, it's people in the publishing business.

SEASON FINALE Mad Men, 10 p.m., AMC It looks like Don has spent all season doing a really good job at selling himself. So who's he going to be come next year?
