On TV this weekend

FRIDAY

Ghost Whisperer, 8 p.m., CBS Melinda thinks she's being haunted by the Headless Horseman from The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, but it turns out she's just been sleeping with the TV tuned to the Disney Channel all night. That would explain the other nightmares about ducks with no pants.

Dollhouse, 9 p.m., Fox Summer Glau lands on her feet after Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles went belly up. Gee, it's like she's been in two previous Joss Whedon joints already.

NUMB3RS, 10 p.m., CBS The gang pays tribute to The X-Files by aping the awesome Fox series (which turned into pretty middlin' movies). We thought Fringe did that every week.

SATURDAY

Night of the Living Dead, 6 p.m., AMC Not only does this penultimate Fearfest offering live up to the network's name, it's digitally restored and playing a few more times tonight for Halloween. It's like it's the grandfather of all zombie movies or something. It also makes us wonder if you'll now be able to tell the blood is actually chocolate syrup. Nice of 'em to put it on early so you still have time to go out trick-or-treating.

SUNDAY

Desperate Housewives, 9 p.m., ABC Are we the only ones who've noticed that Gabby and Carlos apparently time-warped a decade in reverse lately? We liked it better when she was ugly (TV ugly, not ugly-ugly) and he was blind.

SERIES PREMIERE Sex Rehab With Dr. Drew, 10 p.m., VH1 Porn stars and Playboy refugees treat their sex addiction by all living together in a coed dorm. That doesn't sound like a recipe for success, Doc.
