On TV this weekend
Miss America: Countdown to the Crown, 10 p.m., TLC It's the series premiere of TLC's newest reality show featuring all 51 Miss America hopefuls living together — on a boat. Viewers even get to vote four girls into the top 15. Woo hoo!
<< Supernanny, 9 p.m., ABC There's a new twist to the fun of watching spoiled kids kick the tar out of their parents: Jo is now going to coach their nanny, too. Butter me some popcorn for a nanny smackdown.
Rah! Paula Abdul's Cheerleading Bowl, noon, MTV Don't even pretend you will watch this for any reason other than seeing Paula unravel. Rah!
My First Home, 4 to 9 p.m., TLC It's a marathon of 10 episodes to kick off this series, that follows the (mythical?) first-time buyers looking for their own pieces of real estate.
Game Show in My Head, 8 p.m., CBS Ashton Kutcher's newest brain child is a game show where people do really weird things in public because a hidden earpiece tells them to. Cash and embarrassment follow.
Superstars of Dance, 9 p.m., NBC Eight countries participate and they show off their national dance styles. Only the judges have a say in it, so no charming but clumsy sports stars are expected to take it all because of the home audience.
Desperate Housewives, 9 p.m., ABC A competition begins when Bree meets Andrew's future mother-in-law, and don't you know that red-headed will of steel is going to give "monster-in-law" a new meaning.
24: Redemption, 8 p.m. Fox In case you missed Jack Bauer's two-hour booty-whupping the first time, the TV movie replays tonight in preparation for the show's seventh season, which begins Jan. 11.
Exploding pythons. Armless, one-legged drivers. The thief who stashed a puppy in his pants. Welcome to Bizarre Florida, where weird is the norm. blogs.tampabay.com/bizarre
