On TV tonight
Thanks, 7:30 p.m., Showtime Rita Rudner stars in a movie about a widower and his new wife, written and directed by husband Martin Bergman, who shot it in the couple's own home. So you could say she slept with the director for the role.
Person of Interest, 9 p.m., CBS Finch and Reese look for a guy with two identities who hasn't left any digital traces of either life. That means he must sit in a room all day and stare at the wall, because you can't even buy a doughnut these days without some corporation recording your every move.
SERIES PREMIERE Mary Mary, 10 p.m., WE Grammy-winning gospel duo Erica and Tina Campbell tour the country being cool working moms. Again, with the working moms thing. The show wouldn't be nearly as interesting if it were about two moms who worked at a Dairy Queen in Carrollwood.
SERIES PREMIERE The Pauly D Project, 10:30 p.m., MTV The Jersey Shore spinoffs begin, starting with Paul DelVacchio's travails as a DJ. The Situation better get out of rehab soon so he can get a show of his own, because Snooki and J-Woww already are shooting theirs.
