On TV tonight
SERIES PREMIERE The Taste, 8 p.m., ABC Anthony Bourdain, Nigella Lawson, Ludo Lefebvre and Brian Malarkey shepherd both amateurs and pros through a series of culinary challenges. It's like Top Chef, but with 100 percent less Padma Lakshmi.
SERIES PREMIERE Ramsay Behind Bars, 9 p.m., BBC America Gordon Ramsay teaches British prison inmates how to cook. While that's an admirable life skill to teach people in need of job training, he should focus on teaching regular British people how to cook first.
SERIES PREMIERE Edge of America, 9 p.m., Travel A journalist travels the country talking about somewhat offbeat hobbies, like cowboy action shooting, catching rattlesnakes and attending festivals for bull penises. Tbt* already has written about at least one of these things. We'll leave it up to you to guess which one.
SERIES FINALE Private Practice, 10 p.m., ABC Addison says goodbye to the ABC medical melodrama by marrying Jake and never visiting Seattle again. You shove your Post-It wedding, McDreamy.
SERIES PREMIERE Wild Things With Dominic Monaghan, 10 p.m., BBC America Depending on your degree of nerdiness, you either feel like a hobbit or a drowned guy from Lost is traveling the world with you and showing you creatures you're really glad you're not standing anywhere near.
