On TV tonight

Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, 8 p.m., CBS Forty-five-year-old stop-motion animation proves that sometimes you can convince kids antiques are better than shiny new things.

Christmas in Rockefeller Center, 8 p.m., NBC Jane Krakowski and Zachary Levi host the tree-lighting, with appearances by Michael Buble, Aretha Franklin, Alicia Keys, Barry Manilow, the Roots and Shakira. Is this really just an elaborate episode of 30 Rock?

The Grammy Nominations Concert Live: Countdown to Music's Biggest Night, 9 p.m., CBS LL Cool J hosts an overblown special announcing who may win this year's musical popularity contest. We say Taylor Swift, the Black Eyed Peas and Michael Jackson will win every category.

SERIES PREMIERE Steven Seagal Lawman, 10 p.m., A&E Aikido black belt and onetime action star Steven Seagal stars in his very own reality show in which he shows off as a sheriff's deputy in Jefferson Parish, La. His first nemesis: jelly donuts.

SERIES PREMIERE Launch My Line, 11 p.m., Bravo Ten successful professionals who want to switch careers and start clothing lines compete to have their dream realized. Wouldn't it be better to use people who don't have jobs? They probably would be even more motivated.
