On TV tonight

SEASON FINALE Whitney, 8 p.m., NBC Whitney and Alex head to City Hall to get married, but then it gets called off when they realize the entire point of this one-joke series is that they aren't married. Things can't change on sitcoms, you know.

America's Next Top Model, 9 p.m., CW The models head to scenic … Toronto. Nothing against Canada, but the other models got to go to places like Greece and China. Plus: a photo shoot with maple syrup.

Happy Endings, 9:30 p.m., ABC Elisha Cuthbert pretends to be a lesbian. That is all.

SEASON PREMIERE Whitechapel, 10 p.m., BBC America Miles and Buchan head to London's East End, which we hear has quite the grisly history. Well, that's what happens after 1,000 years or so.
