Kitchen Casino, 9 p.m., Food
Poker and other gambling challenges are part of this new cooking competition, in which the turn of a card or the pull of a slot machine handle determines what ingredients the contestants must use. Oh, Food Network. When will you learn? We don't need high-stakes bidding or utensil wars. Chopped reruns 24/7 will do just fine.
The Voice, 8 p.m., NBC
It's time for the playoffs! The top 20 artists perform tonight hoping to be part of the 12 that make it to the live shows. And we continue hoping Usher never wears that ridiculous raccoon hat ever again.
Shark Tank, 8 p.m., ABC
Entrepreneurs, get excited! There are TWO new episodes of Shark Tank airing this week. Tonight, the sharks are pitched things like plush slippers, flavorful nuts and leggings. Ah, add a glass of wine and it's just another typical Thursday night.
The Crazy Ones, 9:30 p.m., CBS
Are you ready for this TV reunion news we're about to drop? Pam Dawber guest stars as Simon's (Robin Williams) new romantic interest, which means Mork and Mindy are together again! Dawber played Mindy McConnell to Williams' alien Mork in the '70s sitcom Mork & Mindy. Yes, kids, Robin Williams started his career playing an alien on TV. Doesn't that explain everything?
Parenthood, 10 p.m., NBC
We can't get behind most of the recent developments on this show (Julia's torrid love affair with that guy she just met, Kristina and Adam inexplicably getting the rights to open a charter school), but one thing keeps bringing us back: Ray Romano as a possibly autistic photographer named Hank, who is quietly giving one of the best, most subtle performances on TV.
Tanked, 10 p.m., Animal Planet
Tanked comes to Florida this week to build a 10-foot-high, 15-foot-long tank shaped like a pipeline wave in a seafood restaurant. But wait, there's more! The show will be back in the Sunshine State for the episode airing May 16, when they'll build a 33,500-gallon snorkel aquarium for St. Pete Beach's new Guy Harvey's RumFish restaurant.
