Top TV week of Jan. 20: Grammy Awards, 'Rake', 'Sleepy Hollow', 'Hollywood Game Night'

MONDAY

SEASON FINALE Sleepy Hollow, 8 p.m., Fox

Ichabod and Abbie make a shocking discovery about George Washington's death in the pages of his Bible in this two-hour finale. Guys, don't be put off by that description, this was actually one of the best new shows of 2013. Promise.

Hollywood Game Night, 8 p.m., NBC

Okay, we officially love this show, because it revolves around two of our favorite things: celebs and party games. It returns after a few weeks off with a doubleheader of new episodes that pits teams of male and female celebrities against each other, each headed by an ordinary person. The stars include Jason Alexander, Martin Short (don't get too excited, he's been on every episode we've seen so far) and Lester Holt versus Beth Behrs (2 Broke Girls), Valerie Bertinelli and Julie Bowen (Modern Family). Even better than the celebs are smart host Jane Lynch and the rollicking games, like Lil Picassos, in which the contestants have to identify famous people in portraits drawn by 8-year-olds.

TUESDAY

The Biggest Loser, 8 p.m., NBC

It's the makeover episode! Fashion guru Tim Gunn helps the contestants choose new outfits for their new bodies before they enjoy a night on the town and reunions with loved ones. Hold on now, don't get too excited, they're still sending two players home tonight.

WEDNESDAY

Revolution, 8 p.m., NBC

Um, hey Revolution! This is a bit awkward. You see, we totally forgot that you were still on the air, given that the last time you had a new episode was before Thanksgiving. Anyway, how's it going? Did you find power yet?

American Horror Story: Coven, 10 p.m., FX

With the coven's future in question, the girls begin to manifest new powers. That's nice and all, but we're already trying to figure out the show's next season, which creator Ryan Murphy recently announced will be set in the 1950s and feature star Jessica Lange with a German accent.

THURSDAY

The Vampire Diaries, 8 p.m., CW

As Katherine's (Nina Dobrev) health takes a turn for the worse, she flashes back to the night in 1490 when she gave birth to her daughter in the series' 100th episode. And you thought the vampire fad was over!

Community, 8 p.m., NBC

Abed wants to mark Troy's (Donald Glover) impending departure from Greendale with an unforgettable going-away party. Well, if Glover is really leaving this show, we demand more output from his musician alter ego, Childish Gambino.

SERIES PREMIERE Rake, 9 p.m., Fox

Greg Kinnear (yep, the movie star) heads this new drama as Keegan Deane, a Los Angeles defense attorney. Wait, don't tell us, does he also have a troubled personal life and a habit of self-loathing? Bingo! His chaotic life includes a gambling problem and an obsession with a prostitute. Natch.

FRIDAY

Enlisted, 9:30 p.m., Fox

Let's all do our part to help this show, one of the most charming new comedies on TV, survive in the ratings while stuck in this awful Friday night timeslot.

SUNDAY

56th Annual Grammy Awards

Forget about the awards. The Oscars' wild cousin specializes in putting on a great show, and this year is no exception. Basically anyone relevant to music in 2013 will take the stage: Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Taylor Swift, John Legend, Lorde, Katy Perry, Daft Punk and Robin Thicke are all scheduled to perform. And we haven't even mentioned the best part! Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr will sing too, and accept a big lifetime achievement award for the Beatles.
