MONDAY

The Bachelorette, 8 p.m., ABC

It's down to Josh M., 29, a former professional baseball player from Atlanta — and Tampa native! — and Nick V., 33, a software sales executive from Chicago, in this THREE-hour finale of the dating show. Don't worry, you'll find out who Andi Dorfman picks by 10 p.m.; the last hour is a live, emotional rehash of Andi's choice. Of course we're rooting for Josh, but does anyone really win in this scenario?

SERIES PREMIERE Running Wild With Bear Grylls, 8 p.m., NBC

In this new reality show, adventurer Bear Grylls has one-on-one encounters with celebrities in the wilderness. So we're sure they're totally, 100 percent legitimate and not at all staged or scripted. In the premiere, Zac Efron of all people gets in on the high jinks. We hear he may or may not eat a bug.

WEDNESDAY

So You Think You Can Dance, 8 p.m., NBC

In what should be a brutal elimination, FOUR dancers are leaving the show this week, narrowing down the field to the show's top 10 contestants. Though, come on, we all already know Ricky is going to win.

Extant, 9 p.m., CBS

Extant tries to make up for its lack of truly interesting storytelling with an appearance from Oscar and Emmy winner Louis Gossett Jr. as Molly's (Halle Berry) estranged father.

THURSDAY

SERIES PREMIERE The Quest, 8 p.m., ABC

Producers of The Lord of the Rings and The Amazing Race are partnered on this ambitious new competition series, which pretty much sums up this show in which 12 contestants are thrust into challenges against the backdrop of a medieval world called Everealm.

SUNDAY

The Strain, 10 p.m., FX

If FX's vampire series has left you cold so far, this could be the episode that'll get your heart pumping again. With more emphasis on the parasitic epidemic – and one particularly chilling sequence involving a rude neighbor and a hungry vamp – it's the show's strongest hour yet.
