Watch this: TV week of July 15

Monday

SEries PREMIERE Kris, 11 a.m., Fox

Kris Jenner gets her own one-hour daily talk show, and we continue to weep for our Kardashian-obsessed nation. Now, how long till she invites baby North on as a guest?

Tuesday

SEries PREMIERE Whose Line Is It Anyway?, 8 p.m., CW

Believe it or not, this improv show stopped producing new episodes back in 2006. And while we doubt anyone was particularly clamoring for its return, there are far worse shows to bring back. Actor/comedian Aisha Tyler (Ghost Whisperer, Archer) fills the Drew Carey role as host over a series of improv segments involving the audience and four comedians. The best part? Whose Line? vets Ryan Stiles, Colin Mochrie and Wayne Brady are all coming back, which is the only real reason we're interested in this show's return. Along with those three, the show will feature a different special guest each week. We'd like to see Chip Esten, who's currently showing off his dramatic chops on Nashville, bring his antics back to the Whose Line? stage.

Wednesday

The 2013 ESPYs, 9 p.m., ESPN

Jon Hamm hosts this year's sports awards. And why stop there? Let's line him up for the next Oscars, Emmys, Grammys — you name it. Anyone who can make us feel sorry for depraved adulterer Don Draper AND make us laugh as Sergio the sax man can do anything.

Thursday

The Bridge, 10 p.m., FX

We're really glad someone has found a juicy dramatic television role for Demián Bichir, whose last show was Weeds. Since then he has been nominated for an Oscar for bringing to life an immigrant gardener in Los Angeles in 2011's A Better Life. We can't wait to see what he does on this new show as Mexican police officer Marco Ruiz, navigating the politically charged climate surrounding the Bridge of the Americas between Texas and Mexico.

SEason PREMIERE Project Runway, 9 p.m., Lifetime

We're curious to see what the 12th season of this show has in store, if for no other reason than a billboard unveiled last week shows Tim Gunn and Heidi Klum presiding over a bunch of naked models. What does this have to do with tonight's challenge to create an outfit from a parachute? We have no idea, but we know we'll be watching. — Michelle Stark, Times Staff Writer
