Watch this: TV week of Nov. 25

MONDAY

The Voice, 8 p.m., NBC

The Voice is having its best season ever. Why? At least half of the Top 8 artists remaining deserve to win; the best singers have been kept around by America's votes and the lackluster ones have gone home (with the exception of the rockin' Kat Robichaud, who left last week and will be very missed); and one judge's chair is now home to the Sexiest Man Alive (Adam Levine, of course. Who'd you think we were talking about? Blake Shelton?).

WEDNESDAY

My Grandmother's Raviolo, 8 p.m., Cooking Channel

Pakistani grandfather and Sarasota resident Riaz Gilani joins host Mo Rocca in this episode to cook up some Punjabi cuisine including an aromatic beef and rice dish. Did we mention he's 96 years old? Yeah, don't want to hear any excuses about cooking dinner tonight.

THURSDAY

Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, 9 a.m., NBC

Sure, many of you will already be line for Black Friday shopping at this point, but if you're home don't forget to flip on the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. Where else can you see the Big Apple Circus, Jimmy Fallon, Joan Jett, the cast of Sesame Street and host Matt Lauer's fledging beard in the same event?

A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving, 8 p.m., ABC

This year marks the 40th anniversary of the beloved Peanuts special, and the 40th year Charlie Brown falls for Lucy's football gag. Really, Chuck, you should know better by now.

Punkin Chunkin, 8 p.m., Science Channel

For those of you who've had it up to here with trying to make the perfect pumpkin pie, get your revenge by watching as teams from across America gather in a Delaware cornfield to see whose homemade contraption can launch a pumpkin the farthest. Take that, you no-good gourd!

Lady Gaga & the Muppets' Holiday Spectacular, 9:30 p.m., ABC

After her new album Artpop proved to be a total dud, Gaga could certainly use some career advice from someone who's been a beloved pop culture icon for decades: Kermit! The Muppets join Gaga for this new special, in which she'll sing songs from Artpop and duet with a very eclectic list of people including Elton John, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and RuPaul.

FRIDAY

Dr. Seuss' How The Grinch Stole Christmas, 8 p.m., ABC

We've been listening to Christmas music for at least a week, so we're ready to dive in to the holiday special bonanza that starts this weekend on just about every channel. And what better way to kick off the season than with this classic cartoon. Come for the Grinchy snarls, stay for the joyful Whovian singing!

Man v. Cheetah, 9 p.m., Nat Geo WILD

Local spotlight alert! Busch Gardens cheetahs take on two of the NFL's fastest players in this show that kicks off the channel's Big Cat Week. The race was filmed in Tampa earlier this year with running back Chris Johnson of the Tennessee Titans and Chicago Bears' wide receiver Devin Hester. We're Team Cheetahs all the way.

SUNDAY

Hallmark Hall of Fame: Christmas in Conway, 9 p.m., ABC

This is already in the running to be our favorite Hallmark movie of the year. Andy Garcia and Mary-Louise Parker play husband and wife in a romantic and tear-jerking story about him trying to recreate a precious moment from their youth by building a Ferris wheel for her in the backyard for Christmas. Sappy? Absolutely. And we wouldn't miss it.
