In the spooky summer "event" series, Secret Service agent Ethan Burke arrives in a seemingly idyllic Idaho town looking for two missing comrades. That's when things get really weird.
American Crime, 10 p.m., ABC.
Some closure - along with a few surprising twists and shockers - comes our way as the handsomely crafted anthology series "American Crime" wraps up. Felicity Huffman and Timothy Hutton star.
FRIDAY
SEASON FINALE The Amazing Race, 8 p.m., CBS.
We get winded just watching. Fortunately, the final leg comes tonight, taking the teams from Peru to Dallas, where they have to rappel 500 feet down Reunion Tower.
SATURDAY
The Billboard Music Awards: An Insider's Guide 8 p.m., ABC.
This probably totally unnecessary special preps viewers for the upcoming trophy fest and includes interviews with chart-topping stars in hop-hop, rock, country, rhythm and blues, and pop.
SUNDAY
The Billboard Music Awards, ABC, 8 p.m.
Yada, yada, yada, this is the above-mentioned trophy fest, hosted by Ludacris and supermodel Chrissy Teigen.
