My guiltiest movie pleasure of 2004 was Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle, a marijuana comedy about an obsessive quest to satisfy the munchies.

Naturally there's a sequel, Harold & Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay (R). New Line Cinema underestimated the funny bone of at least one film critic by not screening it in time for Weekend review.

The new flick picks up where Part 1 ended, with Harold (John Cho) and Kumar (Kal Penn) digesting the miniburgers they went through hell and Neil Patrick Harris to score. Now they're heading to Amsterdam, where Harold's crush is vacationing and coffee shops serve stronger stuff than Starbucks. During the flight they're mistaken for terrorists and hauled away to Guantanamo Bay by a zealous national security agent (Rob Corddry).
