The steamy thriller Deception (R) looks like it could be fodder for a tabloid TV show: "The sex club secrets of Hugh Jackman and Ewan McGregor! How often do they go and what do they show? Next on Inside Entertainment Extra Edition Tonight!"

Those secrets are safe until Friday since Twentieth Century Fox declined to show Deception to many film critics.

Deception casts Jackman as Wyatt Bose, a lawyer and member of a high-priced sex club known as "The List." Dial a number, punch a password and someone sexy answers. Wyatt shares this arrangement with his shy accountant friend Jonathan McQuarry (McGregor), who is thrilled to join. Then the title kicks in, and suddenly sexy time isn't much fun anymore.
