The honeymoon is over before it begins in What Happens in Vegas (PG-13). Ashton Kutcher and Cameron Diaz are the impossibly cute couple at the center of director Tom Vaughn's comedy. Kutcher plays Jack Fuller, a happy-go-lucky guy whose happiness runs out when his luck kicks in. Diaz plays Joy McNally, an uptight woman when she isn't inebriated, which is where Jack successfully leads her, resulting in a one-night stand. The morning after, they can't stand each other but discover they got married sometime during the night. Before an annulment, Jack drops Joy's coin into a slot machine. In true movie fashion, the machine pays off with a fortune. A divorce court judge (Dennis Miller) sentences them to six months of staying together before the money is shared. Here's a safe bet: Jack and Joy will find that neither is as unattractive as they believe. The review of What Happens in Vegas is available now at blogs. tampabay.com/movies (it earns a B). It will appear on Page 2B on Friday. Steve Persall, Times film critic
