Extras sought for James Franco movie 'Spring Breakers' in St. Pete Beach

Here's your chance to possibly share a scene with Oscar nominee James Franco in Spring Breakers, the edgy crime drama preparing to start filming in March in St. Pete Beach. Casting agents are seeking male and female extras who can pass as college students on spring break, looking comfortable in beach attire and between the ages of 18 and 25. Applications should include a recent photograph, and swimsuit poses are a plus. Be sure to include your name, age, clothing sizes for wardrobe consideration and contact information. Only e-mail applications are requested, and should be sent to [email protected] Spring Breakers casts Franco as a drug dealer who bails out college coeds from jail and demands they murder his rival in return. The movie is written and directed by Harmony Korine (Kids, Gummo) and co-stars Selena Gomez, Vanessa Hudgens and Heather Morris. — Steve Persall, Times movie critic
