India International Film Festival comes to Tampa this weekend

Bollywood comes to Tampa this weekend for the India International Film Festival. The three-day festival will feature panel discussions, question and answer sessions with filmmakers, entertainment, parties and more than 20 movies. All films will be screened at Channelside Cinemas, 601 Channelside Drive. Among the films are:


7:30 p.m.: 7 Days in Slow Motion (opening feature in English; 100 mins.) It repeats at 12:30 p.m. Saturday.


10:45 a.m.: Pazhassi Raja (Malayalam, no subtitles; 195 mins.)

2:30 p.m.: Anything For You (English with subtitles; 90 mins.)

6 p.m.: Little Zizou (English, some Hindi/Gujarati with subtitles; 101 mins.)

9 p.m.: Amal (Hindi with subtitles; 101 mins.)


Noon: Wake Up Sid (Bollywood feature — Hindi with subtitles; 138 mins.)

2:30 p.m.: The Salt Stories (documentary — Hindi, Gujarati and English with subtitles; 84 mins.)

5:30 p.m.: Bombay Summer (closing feature — English/Hindi with subtitles; 105 mins.)
