It was just a matter of time until Lee "God Bless the U.S.A." Greenwood got into the Republican National Convention game: On Aug. 27, the Grammy-winning singer, and Nashville's most red-white-and-blue Republican, will play a 9 p.m. gig at the Hard Rock Cafe at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Tampa.
Tickets are $30 and on sale now at ticketmaster.com and the casino's Rock Shop. Concertgoers must be 21 and over, although Greenwood has never said a dirty word in his life, so that must be a gambling restriction.
Speaking of which, we're betting big money that Greenwood will be a busy man that week — after all, crooning for conservatives is his bread and butter! — so stay tuned for more announcements.
