LL Cool J, Earth Wind & Fire and The Wiggles have been added to the Rays 2012 Summer Concert Series, the team announced Monday.
Rapper LL Cool J, who hosted this year's Grammy Awards and stars on TV's NCIS: Los Angeles, makes his second Tropicana Field appearance at the conclusion of the Rays-Orioles game on Saturday, June 2 at 4:10 p.m.
R&B and funk legends Earth Wind & Fire will perform following the Rays-Tigers game on Saturday, June 30 at 7:15 p.m.
And The Wiggles — a.k.a. "the world's biggest preschool game" — make their second appearance at Tropicana Field on Sunday, August 5 when they perform after the Rays-Orioles game as part of Family Fun Day presented by the Tampa Bay Times.
The Rays previously announced that ZZ Top, 3 Doors Down and Gretchen Wilson will all perform at Tropicana Field following the Rays-Marlins game on Sunday, June 17 at 1:40 p.m.
The concerts are free with the purchase of that date's game ticket. More concert dates will be announced soon.
This marks the fifth season of the Rays Summer Concert Series. Since the series began in 2008, the Rays have gone 27-6 and averaged more than 30,000 fans on those dates.
