These crib shoes from heelarious.com are, without a doubt, the best gift for a diva mom whose little girl will indeed be a diva. The soft shoe, for infants 0 to 6 months, has a collapsible "heel" on the bottom. We love the pink patent leather heels, but our favorites are the leopard. When you see these you think of Kimora Lee Simmons, Beyonce (once she has kids) and Victoria Beckham. Sure, the fashion police will say this is a bad idea — that it makes girls, no matter how young, want to strain their foot into stiletto heels. But I think it is just a funny gag gift — albeit an expensive one at $35 a pop. Best silly baby item since the socks that look like Mary Janes. Sherry Robinson

Mokeybar Buddies are kind of like stretchy bike shorts for girls to wear under skirts and dresses so they don't show off their Dora panties on the playground. Of course, girls could wear plain ol' shorts, but those are bulky and, you know, not cool.

My kids would really like it if I carried a bottle of this Momspit around. I'm guilty of the old cleanup tool of licking my finger and wiping the schmutz off their faces just before going in the door at preschool or Grandma's house. This totally grosses them out, and I get that, but what else are you gonna do? My boys have the unique ability to attract dirt, even on freshly washed faces that have done nothing but travel in the back of a car for 10 minutes. This foamy stuff — available on shopintuition.com — supposedly works like hand sanitizer, except there's no alcohol to irritate sensitive faces and it comes in nice smells like Lemon White Tea. Have a lot of smelly diapers or teenaged boys with stinky feet? Our friends over at the Orlando Sentinel Moms at Work blog are giving good reviews to this Bad Air Sponge. Writer Kim Hays shelled out $20 for two of them and reports that it has kept her diaper pail in check.
