The Aripeka Elks Lodge has booked six shows at its entertainment venue in Hudson from October through March for its popular dinner show series, including a family of professional musicians, several celebrity impressionist/impersonators, a couple of solo acts, and a group of 10 singers, dancers and musicians.
The 2009-10 season:
Oct. 10: Comedian, singer, musician John Charles.
Nov. 7: Central Florida "Rat Pack," starring Armando Diaz as Frank Sinatra, Felix Deneau as Dean Martin and Steve Roman as Sammy Davis Jr. in a Las Vegas-style show.
Dec. 12:Let's Hang On, with four male and two female singer/dancers backed by a four-piece band. The show is built around songs made famous by Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, plus others by Nancy Sinatra, Petula Clark and the Chordettes,
Jan. 9: Singer Robin Roth, "back by popular demand," first appeared at the lodge in 2004.
Feb. 20: Jay White's tribute to Neil Diamond. White has appeared at the Riviera Hotel Casino in Las Vegas, played Diamond in the 2008 movie Frost/Nixon and portrayed himself in the 2008 television series Shirts & Skins.
March 13: The Marlins, a family act, play music by the Beach Boys, Beatles, Willie Nelson, Glenn Miller, Neil Diamond, Elvis, Frank Sinatra and many others.
