I'm probably preaching to the choir in extolling the virtues of Graphicstudio, 3702 Spectrum Blvd., Tampa, the 41-year-old atelier at University of South Florida that makes limited edition art in collaboration with leading international artists.

In the beginning, the editions were all two-dimensional prints. Over the years, they have ventured into other realms, especially sculpture. There has always been a waiting list for subscribers to purchase the new series each year.

But the annual sale on Friday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. gives the rest of us a chance to snag one and at a discount between 10 and 60 percent. More than 100 original, artist-signed, fine art prints and sculpture multiples will be available by Los Carpinteros, Chuck Close, Lesley Dill (who has a major show at the Museum of Fine Arts opening Sunday), Alex Katz, Robert Mapplethorpe, Vik Muniz, Robert Rauschenberg, James Rosenquist, Ed Ruscha and William Wegman, whose William of Orange, a photogravure, is shown. Some prints are rare, with just one impression remaining in inventory.

A free drawing will take place at 8 p.m. for Burt Barr's photogravure, V-Formation. Free admission. cam.arts.usf.edu or (813) 974-5871.
