The glitzy musical revue Sugar Babies opens Friday for matinees and evenings through May 25 at the Show Palace Dinner Theatre in Hudson. It's filled with zany (and slightly bawdy) sketches, favorite tunes like I Can't Give You Anything But Love and The Sunny Side of the Street, glittering costumes and a high-kicking chorus line. The show was written in 1979 for Mickey Rooney and Ann Miller. This version stars Show Palace regulars Matthew McGee (The Big Bang, Moonlight and Magnolias) and tap dancer-singer Katie Kerwin (The Full Monty).
The Show Palace is at 16128 U.S. 19, Hudson. Dinner and show, $44; show only, $32.95; ages 12 and younger, $26.45 and $21.45; all plus tax and tip. Call (727) 863-7949 in west Pasco; toll-free elsewhere at 1-888-655-7469.
