NEW PORT RICHEY — Richey Community Orchestra's concert on Sunday sounds like a political campaign rally: "We Love America!"

But that's not at all what it is.

"It's not so much a patriotic show as (it is) a tribute to all the places and things we love most about our country," said Denise Isaacson, publicist for the orchestra.

She describes the program as a multimedia musical tour of nostalgic songs from the Big Apple, San Francisco, New Orleans and other favorite places.

The show features Tampa Bay area favorites John and Mary K. Wilson, who have performed together for more than 30 years and are regulars in the

RCO lineup.

John Wilson is the three-time Emmy Award-winning news anchor and commentator for Fox, WTVT-Ch. 13. Mrs. Wilson is a professional singer who has performed all over the United States and Western Europe. Together, they have performed with the Florida Orchestra, the Tampa Bay Symphony Orchestra and the Florida West Coast Symphony in Sarasota,

among others.

John Wilson will be featured in a musical arrangement of the American classic Casey

at the Bat.

"It's a brand new arrangement of the poem for narrator and orchestra," Ms. Isaacson said. "And what better narrator than John Wilson?"

Resident conductors Karl Beaudry and Robert Boyd will lead the orchestra as it plays Salute to the Big Apple, St. Louis Blues and On the Trail from composer Ferde Grofe's Grand Canyon Suite.
