Thrilling auditions: Auditions for the thriller The Uninvited are 7 p.m. today and 1 p.m. Saturday at Stage West Community Playhouse, 8390 Forest Oaks Blvd., Spring Hill. Big night out: Spring Hill Community Association will present "Lake House Cabaret Night" at 7 p.m. Aug. 22 at the Lake House, 1202 Kenlake Ave., Spring Hill. Time for play: Avenue Players Theatre will hold auditions for Neil Simon's Plaza Suite (Acts 1 and 3) from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Aug. 28 at Leepa-Rattner Museum of Art on the St. Petersburg College Tarpon Springs Campus, 600 Klosterman Road. Roles are for three men and three women ages 20-50. Rehearsals are Tuesdays and Thursdays. Performances are Dec. 3-7. There will also be auditions for a reading performance of ZEBRAS: The Jefferson Legacy, by Richard Budin. Roles are for six black and six white men or women. Performance is Feb. 5.
