Movin' Out is 6 years old now, and it will be interesting to see how it holds up on the tour that stops in Clearwater. Twyla Tharp convinced Billy Joel that his songs could provide the score for a ballet, and the result was invigorating. There's a vague story line that follows a group of friends from high school on Long Island to the Vietnam War and its aftermath, but the real draw is Tharp's choreography to Joel hits like Uptown Girl, Goodnight Saigon and Scenes from an Italian Restaurant. The music is supplied by a piano man (Matthew Friedman and Kyle Martin alternate) and band perched on a catwalk behind the stage, which gives the show the feel of a rock concert with dancing. Performances are at 2 and 7 p.m. Sunday at Ruth Eckerd Hall. $47-$67. (727) 791-7400; www.rutheckerdhall.com.
