Boston Pops doing Hollywood favorites at Clearwater's Ruth Eckerd Hall on March 16

Conductor Keith Lockhart, right, and the Boston Pops Esplanade Orchestra bring a Hollywood and Broadway program to Florida, with favorites ranging from Kiss Me, Kate to Lawrence of Arabia to Raindrops Keep Falling on My Head. Naturally, there will be selections composed by Pops laureate conductor John Williams, including the flying theme from E.T. (The Extra-Terrestrial). Broadway stars Marin Mazzie and Jason Danieley will do the singing. Tampa Bay area concertgoers with long memories will recognize the Pops concertmaster Joe Scheer, who was concertmaster with the Florida Orchestra in the 1990s.

The performance is at 8 p.m. Monday at Ruth Eckerd Hall, Clearwater. $60-$85. (727) 791-7400; rutheckerdhall.com.
