Sarah Hicks will always have Paris. Hicks returns as guest conductor with the Florida Orchestra this weekend, bringing with her "Postcards from Paris," a pops show she developed for the Minnesota Orchestra, with whom she is principal conductor, pops and presentations. Her program is loaded with favorites, from April in Paris to La Vie en Rose, Django Reinhardt's Nuages (Clouds) to Claire de Lune to film music from The Umbrellas of Cherbourg. Joining Hicks and the orchestra are vocalists Kersten Rodau and Robb Asklof, Patrick Harrison on accordion and guitarist Gil Gutierrez.
Concerts are at 8 p.m. Friday at Morsani Hall of the David A. Straz Jr. Center for the Performing Arts, Tampa; 8 p.m. Saturday at Mahaffey Theater, St. Petersburg; and 7:30 p.m. Sunday at Ruth Eckerd Hall, Clearwater. $15, $30, $45; $10 students, educators, military.
