'Christmas expressions'

Expressions, the Dance Company, will perform at 7 p.m. today at the Center for the Arts at River Ridge, 11646 Town Center Road, New Port Richey. The first half of the show is a narrated miniversion of the Nutcracker Ballet; the second half is a medley of holiday favorites with dancing. Away in a manger: The Angelus center for the developmentally disabled presents an outdoor Christmas Pageant at 6:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the Angelus (no performance in cold or rainy weather), 12413 Hudson Ave., Hudson. Refreshments in the activity center after the pageant, a living narration of the Christmas story. Free; no solicitations.

Holiday story: Florida Lyric Opera presents the American opera Amahl and the Night Visitors at 7:30 p.m. Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday at Tarpon Springs Performing Arts Center, 324 Pine St. Tickets are $20 nonmembers, $18 members, $12 students. (727) 942-5605.

Gather 'round the radio: The Old Time Radio Club will perform the short skit "Ed and Mabel" and the play Snow at 2 p.m. Monday at the CARES Rao Musunuru MD Enrichment Center, 12417 Clocktower Parkway, Hudson.
